The only way that it would be fair for every team is if they pplay each other 2 times per season, scrub the Ansett Cup.
As this is fantasyland stuff, we are stuck with the current system.
All it means is that the likes of North and St KIlda and Hawthorn etc who don't get to play blockbusters have to be better business minded and encourage more supporters to become mebers, also have more corporate sponsorships.
But
North seem to not be able for some reason to turn supporters into members. Losing VicHealth as a major sponser is a real worry.
Equalization is just that all clubs equal.Shame its not.
But that seems to be the AFL's policy.
So some clubs flying close to the wind should closely scrutinise their business plans and fix the leaky cash flows they have.

Hey Michele,

If you cared to look at the whole original message I posted - you would realise that it was a simple cut & paste job. All I did was pass on what I read. I didn't try to make so called fiction into fact. If you've got a problem with it - blame the reporter - not me. Who ever said this forum was gospel anyway??

Thanks Denno,

Yes, I blame the reporter! If the article was in the Aged, then Caro 'Richmond' Wilson, or Rohan 'Essendon' Connelly may have wriiten the piece.

Michele
