Firstly.. will the rotation policy of captains now be abolished...?
For me.. I think 8 months (which is what it is after getting it in Feb til September) is not nearly enough to show your credentials and gather respect amongst the team, coaching staff and fans.
I think Kosi should be our captain, permanently.. I know there'll be those who say he is too often injured.. but he is a general on the field, is used in the spine and is loved and respected by all.. He can grow to become StKilda's Kernahan if he gets his body right..
and the other one I had from left field... would it be such a bad thing if Blighty realised that he needed to have a decent crack this time at coaching the Saints for obviously less money than originally.. I think Blighty has never recovered from that incident and his legacy would be much improved if he were to come back and take the Premiership while coaching the Saints second time round... It's worth perhaps thinking about.. He is after all a mastermind of the game, his credentials are sensational as a coach/ player..
Since Watson, I've been really skeptical about unfounded coaches who haven't done it at senior level jumping into it..
