Because CS types don't 'do' answers, they just do questions. We all struggle to some degree with drawing conclusions from incomplete information, and want to ask more questions. They are just at the far end of that spectrum, where evidence supporting something 99.999% is still not enough.

That's my theory anyhow.

I have changed my mind from stuff I've read on BF, mainly when people actually post reasoned thought-provoking posts with links to further reading. Can't say I've ever changed my mind based on a bunch of rhetoric and personal attacks.

Sure we all need to think for ourselves, but we do not have the resource to understand everything there is to understand from scratch. That's why we have experts who give us information, and why we have free speech and rigorous debate to challenge what they say to ensure it is the best info we can get.

That is because, more than most in this country, you base your opinions on evidence and reason.

The statists, whether you understand this or not, know that the masses do not think this way. They follow crowd, and especially follow crowds of uniform opinion. Which is why the statists make a concerted effort to appeal to authority (Scientism) and attack those who do not follow the groupthink.

I do not post here to change the minds of people like yourself. You are smart enough to do your own research and realise that mass forced chemical injections of our young is a dangerous thing.

as above, this is a common accusation from morons whose simplistic worldviews can't account for dissent from educated people, so they invent traits for said people that bear no resemblance to the truth. FYI the only TV I watch is the footy. I happen to know quite a lot about the fluoridation paranoia, so yeah, I've done my due diligence. at least, I've been able to move beyond the "just asking questions" phase, which you're perpetually stuck in.

I agree it should not be forced - many pro vaccination people are the same. Forcing people to do things is not the best path to go down.

I do believe that encouragement is ok though. And I think that is what is being proposed. No-one is forcing you to get the jabs. No one is forcing you to take your kid to childcare. No one is forcing you to take money from society for having children.

You could say that lumping these together as a "one in all in, one out, all out" 'atomic' type choice is somewhat coercive. Perhaps it is - but as a democracy it seems that most are content with the reasoning behind the choice.

1) Who are these 'experts'? What are their qualifications? Were they from a government-funded operation and if so, how credible are they?
2) You do not have 'free speech' or 'rigorous debate', the statists will not allow it. Look at what happened to Dr Sherri Tenpenny just a few months ago.
