Not many taken 30+ in a weak draft are A gradersHopefully a better player than O'Bree who was a decent servant but fell short of being an A-grader.

Maybe the draft wasn't as weak as they thought . I'm pretty happy with our picks. Not many taken 30+ in a weak draft are A graders

I only looked at our current team.Don't forget Dane Swan - pick 58.

Dan Houston and Lachie Schultz also, wishful thinking on Murphy being current team unfortunatelyI only looked at our current team.![]()
I should have said recentDan Houston and Lachie Schultz also, wishful thinking on Murphy being current team unfortunately

Yeah true, they obviously aren't all A graders but there are plenty of guns taken later in the draftI should have said recent
So Shultz 57
Dan Houston 45 in 2016 rookie draft
Even Lippa was pick 28
Can't find Jamie's, he was preselected or something like that for GWS.
If we add the last two season's draft selections then almost the entire squad are over 30's.
Exceptions Pendles, Nick, Sidebottom and Moore. Might have missed someone.
Were they all weak drafts. Like the 2025 one where one club didn’t take a single pickYeah true, they obviously aren't all A graders but there are plenty of guns taken later in the draft
I haven't done any study on how strong the drafts were, we can't really say the 25 draft was weak just yet, none of them have played a game. Were they all weak drafts. Like the 2025 one where one club didn’t take a single pick
I like Prindable too. Was more a crack at someone moaning that he might ‘only’ be O’Bree level. He was a very good level
You've called out 7 names across a year year drafting period, and not all are A graders. Here's a few
Bruzzy pick 30- 2014
Cameron pick 48-2016
Jack Crisp pick 40 in rookie draft in 2011
Josh Daicos pick 57 in 2016
Beau pick 44 in 2020
Murphy pick 39 in 2017
Jeremy Howe pick 33 in 2010
At best 1 in 3 makes it. At 30+ its closer to 1 in 4.You've called out 7 names across a year year drafting period, and not all are A graders.
And I reckon if someone took the time, they'd be able to pull up 10 times as many names of people who didn't make it from 30+.
According to this, 1 in 3 of the 30-50picks play 100 games:At best 1 in 3 makes it. At 30+ its closer to 1 in 4.
It’s great table that one. Decent drop off in pick rangesAccording to this, 1 in 3 of the 30-50picks play 100 games:

These days we're not that keen on players doing things that are unprintable. He’ll do things so awesome he’ll be called Unprindable in a few years.
We smashed the rookie list back then.7 from the rookie list in our 2010 GF win, I think the Saints had similar.
True apart from bolded.7 from the rookie list in our 2010 GF win, I think the Saints had similar.
Agree - great analysis. 1 in 7 get to 200 games. It’s great table that one. Decent drop off in pick ranges
Ash Prindable is his brother, so I'm guessing yes.Is Ashlon Prindable his Brother?
As he is part of the Indigenous Acdamey
