Totally different characters. One is a double character from a novel commenting about consumerism and and machoism, and the other is a pirate from a Disney franchise. Durden has better lines and is a more interesting character.

Jack Sparrow is a good character but how dare anyone compare POTC to Fight Club.
Fight Club is one the greatest films ever made. It defied a generation. It is a once a decade picture.
Pirates is the most overated bunch of garbage of all time. The only thing exists because of Johnny Depp. The whole movie does not have one original thought what so ever and yet for some reason people rate it as a masterpiece. Its a popcorn 2 hours of fun nothing more. How dare anyone compare anything in it to Fight Club its insulting

Captain Jack beats Tyler, for mine.
I would go as far as to say it has been a good while since I've seen a character as enchanting as Cptn Jack.
