If we had 22 boys run out every week with his ticker we would have won 10 flags in the last 30'years. What he brings to our team isn't measured by stats and numbers. I honestly think he is one of our most important players. Big ticker. Big decoy. Big legend.

He's got a big body and a bit of mongrel in him. Similar to the spud Hurley (who he is far superior to), he plays better when he plays with some fire in him.

Great for him to play with some confidence and physicality. Hopefully will reassure him his body can handle the rigours of AFL footy and make him keep playing well.

It was just one game after many adsences from influence on games. But it was brilliant to see him eyes on the footy charging through packs and contesting all over the ground and actually exerting his dominant frame over some of the tumbleweed Blue boys. Keep it up Ty :D

For his 1st season proper game, he looked good (hope it's a sign of things to come for Ty). Was great to see him uninhibited and jumping at the ball/packs :thumbsu:

he actually does have some deceptive mongrel about him, he s usually in the thick of stoushes, and i quite liked how he let Bootsma know all about it when mcG nabbed him. Like many players he thrives on confidence, i said it before he was 10ft tall by the end of the game, flying for everything and pulling down most and all overhead marks too, none of that chest mark crap we say 12 months ago, obviously protecting a bung shoulder

I would have thought obvious mongrel...:D..
I reckon it would'nt take much for Kingy, Tyrone and Jackson with McGuane and Maric as well to start an all in brawl...
Kingy and Tyrone both seem have a touch of white line fever in their blood...just hope they know when to turn it on and not cop suspensions..

The look he gave to Bootsma after the Mcaguane tackle was classic!!

I mean, it wasn't just some big headed footy player trying to look tough.

Tyrone looked dead-set scary!!

He was doing it also in the NAB games but was all out of sync with Jack and they were spoiling each other. Good to see Dimma address that and have Jack push up and allow Ty his own space to attack. Watters will obviously be aware of this so it will be interesting how he backs it up on Friday.

It was also the Saints game last year when he had his best game and was just starting to find rhythm and hitting packs hard when he re aggravated his shoulder injury. I reckon he will be red hot on Friday.

Bootsma was saying something to him lol

how good was it when he had eyes for the ball and crashed the pack?

i think it was during the NAB cup where he raged hard and started fighting the north player where i sort of realised he was a changed man.

melbourne player actually.

The size of his ticka/ committment has always been of concern . He does have the ability but there are plenty of times he has given arsed efforts . If he is committed and can make Thursday night the base rather than the ceiling he'll be a good player who should be RFC number 1 ruckman by 2015 .

Very promising. To kick three in your first game back after surgery and a while out of the game is always going to turn some heads, but I'll reserve my final judgement for when he's played consistently good footy for three or four rounds.

Yeah goes to show how much we missed him healthy last year. Will take the pressure off Jack long term too.
A rampant Vick and a hard at it McGuane (even with limited skills) means Jack will be rarely double or triple teamed. Get on him now for the Colman.
