The size of his ticka/ committment has always been of concern . He does have the ability but there are plenty of times he has given arsed efforts . If he is committed and can make Thursday night the base rather than the ceiling he'll be a good player who should be RFC number 1 ruckman by 2015 .
If we had 22 boys run out every week with his ticker we would have won 10 flags in the last 30'years.

Are these events related? Or are you just stating them in chronological order?Little bit of useless trivia. As a teen recovering from his knee reco he went to Cambodia with his old man and after watching the Cats smash Port in the GF he went and got a Chinese tattoo on his arm that translates into "Live Free"

Depends what you view as being mobile. Hes not very fast (nearing on being slow) and he hasn't any endurance.
He can turn players inside-out, and i reckon thats about as mobile as he gets.
I've always had the feeling that he could become that guy that opposition players are wary of. Reckon he doesn't mind hurting blokes. One if the things I loved about Greg Stafford.how good was it when he had eyes for the ball and crashed the pack?
i think it was during the NAB cup where he raged hard and started fighting the north player where i sort of realised he was a changed man.
That doesn't prove someone's courage IMO , it your head over the ball or running with the flight is courage . When talking courage I think of players like Hayes , Bolton or Jono Brown not blokes who wish to push and shove at the nearest opportunity with the safety of knowing others won't belt them , ala Connors .
Vickery didn't do any amazingly couragous acts on Thursday night , IMO , he upped the ante a little on his attack on the ball which was pleasing to see and will hopefully give him the confidence to continue to improve in that area .
I think he definitely brings some mongrel to the team but lets see him play some consistent footy before we blow too much smoke up his arse.
I thought his fly that killed Robinson was a pretty courageous eyes on the ball, back with the flight contest.
Got a Black Belt so he is on the way.I've always had the feeling that he could become that guy that opposition players are wary of. Reckon he doesn't mind hurting blokes. One if the things I loved about Greg Stafford.
Have never doubted Vickery's ability , I seen enough of him at TAC level to see what he is capable of when fully committed , nice troll attempt .I thought McGuane was a better ruckman according to you in the pre round 1 game Vickery thread?
