Great clubman, gave his all, forever a FlagPie.

Good luck to the Midas Crotch in whatever he does from here.

Great clubman right to the end of his career, made the most of his talent and very unlucky not to retiring as a dual premiership player.
Good luck on your future to you and your family goldy you deserve it and will always have fond memories of what you brought to the team and what it ment to play for collingwood playe

CHampion, always gave his all. YOu just always felt a little safer knowing he was in the team.

A premiership player, that makes him a Collingwood legend

Cheers and a hearty thanks Goldy for a great contribution to our club.
Truly enjoyable being a part of the ride.
You will never have to pay for a beer in my neck of the woods. :thumbsu:

Never left anything on the field and certainly made the most of his talents in a variety of positions including arguably a career best year in his twilight years (2017) as a key defender. Unfortunate that we didn't get to see him in the seniors in 2019, but it was remarkable effort to get back for finals last season.

Cheers for giving your all Goldsack!

A terrific clubman who gave it all for the club. Will never forget his opening goal in the 2010 replay or last year's memorable finals run. All the best Goldy.

Tyson comes across as a genuinely good dude. wish him the best.

as i grow older i'm finding it harder and harder to see players retire :(

oh well, that's life.

on a positive note it's always fun to watch a games from a few years back and remember all these guys in the greatest jumper in football.

Congratulations Goldy - thanks for everything - always put the club first - I will never forget the look on Ross Lyon's face when you kicked the first goal of the 2010 replay :)

The life cycle of footy. Sad to spend his last year in the twos, but Goldy more than most would understand why and take it for the club.

Is he the last of the ‘The Beaks’?

Edit: yes he is. The others were Cloke, Cameron Wood and Tooves.

Should have played more games but Malthouse never rated him. One of the great characters at the club and one of the most likeable personalities from 2010....... if not THE most.

But..... Adelaide???????

Would be a great SANFL player if he wanted to keep playing for a year or two .

The Crows or Power would do worse than find a role for a person like him. He’s got a better attitude than the two clubs put together.

You do have to wonder what he's done to merit such a punishment.

My favourite player because you could trust him to give everything and was a great defender IMO. Almost helped us get over the line last year for his second Premiership, but not to be
