People bit harsh on Robbo, his just mentioning a breaking story, that just came out

Biggest question is why a player would be out at 2.30 am, when they flew back that day after playing a game interstate, aren’t they meant be at home recuperating and taking it easy

Some very kind supporters in here giving the player with multiple drug/alcohol strikes the benefit of the doubt.

I mean in the end he is just harming himself as long as he doesnt do harm to others he can stuff his body up as much as he likes.

Many many worse players are given free passes for assaulting/armed robbery in the AFL.

1 incident in 3 years is hardly the sky falling
Not according to the HUN..

The Cats landed back in Melbourne late on Saturday and Stengle then hit the town in Geelong.
It’s understood he was not out partying with any teammates.
Stengle is a regular at Geelong’s nightspots and it’s also understood he was recently refused entry due to being heavily intoxicated.
That led to Stengle engaging in a minor argument with the nightclub’s security guards.

Signs a contract to play sport and if he has taken something illegal that prevents him doing that, Geelong should have eveey right to terminate the contract immediately without having to pay a cent
There should be zero tolerance for crims (especially DV) and Druggies.

Bouncers must have spiked his drink

Yer but thats not how it works players with ability are given multiple chances.

Seven reported Stengle was carried out of a Geelong nightclub around 2:30am, just hours after returning from Tasmania where he kicked three goals in the Cats’ win over North Melbourne.

The 25-year-old was unresponsive at the time and was in a “serious condition”, but has recovered following the incident and ran light laps at Cats training on Monday.
Dude handles his hangovers well!

I got home at 4am the other week, for the first time in about 20 years. Took me almost week to get over it!

This bloke's running laps the next day!
