I was wondering how you put this list together? For example, did you go and watch the State Championships in July, do you speak with people involved in the talent pathways (Coates), etc?

Jake Gibbons (Coorparoo) Great ball user and explosiveness of half back or in the midfield.
Jordan Kaesler (Burleigh) Multi sport athlete lots of promising potential, elite athleticism.
Joseph Collis (Coorparoo) Strong individual, early developed game sense.
Harley Wolbers (Morningside) Silky ball movement and quick feet which are complemented by his beautiful right boot
River Harvey (Palm Beach Currumbin) Strong around the ball good over head
Max Bush (Morningside) Smaller Bodied inside mid well rounded attributes and great dyynamics

Don't think Marlion is in ours. Lives in Melbourne and we are the only club without a metro zone. Think he played some games with our academy team when his dad was playing.
Pretty sure Marlion snr is playing footy in WA in 2026, so think the family has moved back over there.

Wasn't aware Callum Samuelson was a ruckman. It's encouraging to see he's already being compared to Cooper Duff-Tyler. Would it be fair to suggest he is the standout ruck in this draft class right now? He was the joint winner of the player of the tournament at the U15s national championships this year so logic would suggest he is the best ruck in this draft class as of right now.

Oh yeah. I forgot about Big Mac. I'm guessing that means one of them will be turned into more of a key forward. Probably Samuelson because he sounds the most athletically gifted of the two.
