Watching the D2 games today, it really impressed on me how hard it would be to get those all important 20-60 picks correct. Some of the players that grabbed my attention

Earl Shaw NSWACT #22, Ruck type, took a few nice marks, poss Rookie
Ed Clarke NSWACT#21 , Chunky mid , reminded me of Josh Hunt in the V’s , just ripped thru some times with strength, he and Shaw combined well a few times.
Luke McGuanne QLD#26 , Ruck/Forward, different player to uncle Mick , Athletic tall
Will Hamil QLD#12
Cheynee Stiller QLD#15 , two similar types med running off the half back
Lee Spur QLD#7, small forward type that took marks well above his height
Issac McLean NT #21, CHF type with plenty of development left in him, only recently started playing at this level. Around 190 but has a strong frame that would handle extra weight
Johnno Mullins NT#4, small but had balance and kept getting in position to get the ball

There are guys like Tambling that will go Top10, very dynamic but I was just trying to spot a player for our 2nd round pick, in the 30 something range.

I thought he was the tank?

Yes Aboriginal , No, not like Brennan.190 and 95Kg. Played more like a power CHF big bodied, pack mark type, probably a bit soft at the moment but has the frame to be a J.Brown build or a Cam Mooney build (not saying their talent just body type). He impressed me in his read of the ball when in dispute, nice soft hands for the grab. Kicking for goal right foot, his style was fair to good. He used his left when he had the ball in a play on situation, so he does have one.
I think Kevin Sheehan made the comment that he comes from Alice Springs and that he's currently with Clontarf College with Gerard Neesham and it was only 2 weeks ago that Darren Bewick found out about him. He kicked 5 goals in one of the lead up games in the Challenge Cup .His description was agile powerful athlete. Terry Wallace thought he looked a good player and without knowing anything more than what I’ve seen, I think he would be an excellent pick at late 2 or worse. Put it this way he looks to have more long term potential than Thurley
