good to see wyndhamvale boys are up and about now but we will see in the next few weeks coz they will be versing altona and werribee in the next 2 weeks hahaha good luck boys..;)

It is good to see the Vales boys up and about, this week as you said will show where they stand. Werribee have a very formidable forward line with the likes of Harrington and McLellan but will be matched fairly well by a well organised Wyndham Vale backline. Both sides have good midfields, from what i have seen Werribee have more depth in that area, saying that, dont discount Vales onballers very tough and know how to play, might run out of legs due to little to no rotations available. The biggest disparity is in Vales foward line, so far 85% of their goals this season have come from onballers and a backman, doesnt seem to be a gun forward up there and up against werribee's backline, probably the best, will find it very hard to convert their Inside 50's into goals. My tip. Werribee should get over the line a tough game, Vales to get closer then everyone thinks. Werribee by 4-6 goals.

joel is too lazy i dont reckon he would even be in willys top 10 players cam d'altera kicked 8

id have to agree with you there sceptic , joel is probaly in the bottom 10 players at williamstown, lazy and doesnt put any forward pressure, soon as he gets caught behind he gives up, i dont see why he is at the jets,

Wyndhamvale have got off to good to solid start beating willamstown by 9 points and port colts by 80 points, but their real test comes over the next two weeks when the face the heavyweights werribee and altona respectively. I was just wondering how you's reckon wyndhamvale will stand up against these better teams? Wyndhamvale have gained respect over these last two weeks sitting on top of the ladder, but won't be given the respect they deserve until they play well against a top team. Wyndhamvale have talented side this year but are still lacking a goalkicker. They have got most the goals from unlikely sources. The question is can the kick a winning score against these top teams.

yeh we have strong side gettin more numbers every week i think we will go better then any of the other teams against the top sides we have a good running side the thing we lack is a forwad line as th on ballers have to change and are the only ones scoring goals. Our bak line is holdin up really well and pretty much our strongest point. Realisticly the only reason we only won by 9 points against willy was we were not switched on at all and when we decided to play abit better we were winning all over the ground and willy flodded the forward line last quarter they were not even tryin to win just not to lose by much so i think next time we come up against them should be a diffrent story but we should be pretty competeive this year.

Flooding the Backline,
Only won by 9?

Firstly, willi never flooded the backline that game, so I don;t know what you're on about.

Secondly, willi lost two of its top players, one who got taken out at half time and another just before that. REALISTICALLY you are lucky to have won at all, so yes it will be a different story next time you play willi.

righto chief

just think were at least 6 goal better team then them seeing as we did not play near to our best and we played alot better to port colts who bet st albans by just as much as willy did so yeh def think were better side then them by at least couple of goals.

stress less buddy

I was at this game, and it was evident who was the better side, Wyndham Vale coming up from the B"s were playing B's footy in the first quarter, which resulted in the jump Williamstown got. But the next 3 were a different story, in a game were goals were hard to come by, Wyndham vale had a majority of the play and dominated on the scorebored, in more favourable conditions, it would have been expected that Vales kicked an extra 6 or 7 goals. and Rusty 6 is right, Williamstown did flood, had at least 2 extra floaters in defence to stem the momentum but Vales were good enough to get in front, after that Williamstown heads dropped. Congrats on the goal from the boundary to put yous in front rusty :thumbsu:, i assume its the same player?

looking forward to this weeks game :).
played willy in praccy with basically the B side in.. willy didnt really impress me even tho it was there 1st game.. see how we go with our good side in :p..

ok firstly willy lost theyre top forward and midfielder and played shit after shit , in the fourth quartor willy were up by nine points and they put 1 loose man in defence and thts it to try stop the ball but in the end the ball just kept comming down and we coudlnt get it far out
on there day i would say willy would beat wyndham vale by ten goals wyhndham vale are very small and will get towled this weak as for hoppers , when you played willy you might of only had 5 of so a's players but willy were also missing at least ten players from there first so should be a good game

And what a job you did filling in that hole. Hard to imagine the results turning around that dramatically.
Wyndham Vale sure don't have the talent of most sides, but as i've said previously, a bit of spirit can go a long way.
Interesting to see the impact of returning Jets players for the clubs this week...

The C's league has been scraped. A new extended B's league has been formed with 13 teams Werribee, Point Cook, Albion, Albanvale, Wyndhamvale, North Sunshine, Sunshine, North Footscray, Braybrook, Hoppers Crossing, Glenorden, North Footscray, Altona and Parkside. This will be interesting seeing the gap between top sides and bottom sides is so big. What will this 13 team league do to fixturing, some teams will only play each other once? A what we will this do to finals, will it still be top five? The A's league remains unchanged as no one is good enough to go up into the league.

I reckon the top sides in the B's now are Werribee tigers, Albion, Parkside, Sunshine and Glen Orden
