um like all footy clubs the jets have to make a side of players for certain positions not just whoever has talent because there may be a better person to fill their position in the side.
grosso from st. bernards took aarons spot most probably as a forward pocket

All due respect to the guys you mentioned, but they are not the quality of the returning werribee players.

Altona's first quarter was first rate kicking five goals to zip. i also agree that Werribee in the end had a little more depth but i also think that they had more options through the midfield. Werribee's defence was under seige in the first quarter mainly through Altona's centre clearances. Zac Segger is a much improved player as is big Mitch Clement (i hope I have the right name - he is the ruckman). Both teams played some guys out position to either expiriment or bluff?? Altona wouldnt have too many more players to come back in i wouldnt have thougt whereas it appears the werribee team may have a few to come back.

Iwas also at the werribee altona game on the weekend. The two ruckman this year at Altona, Zac and "Big" Mitch will dominate. They both play a pretty smiliair style of footy, both can run all day. They will be able to go all out 100% for as long as they can, then swap in the foward line. Here they will kick a good amount between them while having a breather, and presenting a tall option foward. It will be like the ruckmen at altona never stop moving with the constant changes.

All other clubs better hope they have a couple of players who can ruck, becasue one even 2-3 ruckmen arent gunna be able to keep up with these two guns. I heard from my mate at altona, that mitch is still recovering from dislocating his knee during pre-season. But should be right in a couple of weeks and at full fitness.

A player at altona who is being over looked is Tyler Heale (i think thats how you spell his last name) that guy can run all day, he doesnt even know when his tired! His got the best legs speed i have ever seen. With people like him under neath the feet of the altona ruckman, the centre will be hard to beat. As werribe found in that first quater, like when mitch tapped one right to tyler in the goal square, that play was like magic.:)

I dont have him confused.If you read my post I am saying I think he will be one of Altona's best this year.Apparently only HCFC thinks he is shit but as i said in my last post,for a bloke who has played against him 10 yrs and formed that opinion Mr HCFC is either in need of a seeing eye dog or he is the WRFL U18 answer to Chris Judd and forms that opinion of all his opponents.Summed it up at the end of my last post imo.MORON.:eek::eek::eek:

heard they have just 1 side then i heard they dont have enuff numbers nd altona seniors are playin them first round so wat does that mean for altona 18's???

rumour is st albans will hav a team by this weekend
and will be playing round 1
but most likely in the B's
Heard there side is very average

it will be interesting to see if D'Altera can be as dangerous as his last 2 years up forward, ive played against him and he can kick alot of goals in big bags aswell!!

who would be the premier forward this year to watch out for?

league b nd F- umm.. apparently sam wood is playin still?
leading goal kicker- dáltera frm willy or williams from hoppers, kicks alot of goals doesnt matter where he plays
interleague- no idea??
