How those onboard this United Airlines Boeing 767 didn’t perish in this seemingly huge pilot mistake, we can only be thankful.
I first saw the footage and thought haha it’s AI.
Simply unbelievable.
This is the short runway at Newark (New York) which probably had something to do with it with the pilots not wanting to float down the runway whilst landing. Probably best to declare unable though and use the main runways (crosswind limits permitting).
The preliminary report will be very interesting.
Tea and biscuits coming up with the Chief Pilot I imagine.
