Handball rule changed so accidental handball leading to a teammate scoring no longer penalised - Eurosport


Nope. Accidental handball in lead up to goal is no longer an offence. Only an offence by the goalscorer and immediately before they score under the new rule which makes more sense.

Accidental handball is only penalised against the goalscorer now. Not the person who assists.
