We wouldnt be in the final if not for these guys last season. From Kidderminster to CL qualification.

Does UEFA still have the rule where the 5th placed team qualifies for the next year if the previous years champion already qualified?

Just wondering if Arsenal/Real Bettis can still make it

Thiago and Fabinho apparently training well and expected to play. Absolutely critical for us that they start tomorrow. The midfield battle of Fabinho/Thiago/Keita vs Casemiro/Kroos/Modric will be fascinating to watch.

They'd want to be fit. Nothing worse than playing players that aren't 100% and then having to sub early due to it.

I’m very pessimistic about this one. Liverpool looked out of gas for large periods against wolves, at best an underdone Thiago and Fabinho plus Real would be a fairytale story if they win beating every European giant bar Bayern.

This time round we've got a week rest which makes a big difference. Due to being the only team in contention to win all trophies on offer we've been playing a game every 3 days for the last few months.

The 5 subs helps with this. I don't Klopp could risk starting both with only 3.

There's such a large drop off in the midfield from those guys though so worth the risk.

If now fit a few of the key players didnt play that game or played only a little. So should be as fresh as we've been for some time.
