Looking forward to the next England game with a 3 man midfield of Henderson, Rice and Phillips. Maybe they'll install nets on the side of the pitch.

Croatia with too much class in the end and Scotland really missing a goalscorer up top. Gilmour would have been nice to have in the team, but it unlikely would have made a matchwinning difference.
England have done what they had to but haven't looked convincing doing it. Will be interesting to see what Southgate does next round.

I think England would back themselves against Germany or Portugal at Wembley. France they’d need to improve significantly. France were poor in the group stages in 2018 and Portugal even worse in 2016 so any teams who battle a bit through the group can still go deep in the tournament.

If you're Finland or Ukraine right now what do you cheer for in these last 4 matches? They could be cheering for one result and then be cheering for the exact opposite result to happen the next minute because of something that happened in the other game.
Well at least Scotland scored a goal, the roar from the crowd after it was insane.

2 goals from England in 3 group matches isn't exactly awe inspiring. Really need to lift on that to go anywhere. Can't keep relying on clean sheets to save them.
Croatia stood up when they needed today. Played much much better than their previous two games, their team balance was heaps better today without Rebic and Kramaric starting. Absolute pearler of goal by Modric too with the outside of his foot from outside the box.

England are the second lowest team for shot attempts to play all 3 games so far. By the end of tonight they're likely to be the 3rd lowest (Hungary will take a lot to get past Finland). They're like the Italians now.
