Enjoying these upsets (relatively speaking) in UEFA competition. Has me wondering if the real reason they're normally two-legged ties is because it's harder for bigger clubs to lose over 180 minutes than 90.

Tough way to go out, United only needed 2 more penalties to snatch the game.

When the two biggest legends in your clubs history is Dixie Dean, who played in the 1920s and 1930s, and a 16 year old Wayne Rooney, you shouldn’t be mocking anyone.

Remember when Fernandes did the hop in his penalty approach and the commentator wouldn't stop talking about it as if nobody had ever done it before?

I get the feeling that there was supposed to be more to this post?

Good riddance the scum are out. Honestly if that was a penalty then you may as well just scrap football and have mega pen shootouts to decide every match instead. The old saying that players have to fall to ground to be rewarded for the foul that would have gone unnoticed doesn't even apply to United, just do a bit of a wobble instead. When was the last match in which this team was not given a penalty?

At least now United can't close the gab on the trophy count with Liverpool because of a smaller trophy. Liverpool overttook it with the big 2, for United to claim one back because of this shite and then possibly a European Super Cup next season would have been an injustice.

Oh and City, * you too you cheating grubs.

Liverpool - the biggest club in England

Imagine thinking that booting a player in the ankle isn’t a penalty. There has been a lot of controversial penalties this season, all over Europe, but can we stop complaining about penalties that are penalties?

And are you really counting trophies for each club and shitting on the Super Cup and Europa League? You have won the League Cup 8 times, Super Cup 4 times and Europa League 3 times when it was the UEFA Cup. Those are all included in the trophy count. It’s a bit of a silly thing to mock.

Can you imagine winning the Premier League for the first time in 30 years and still mocking another club trying to win a European competition that your own club has won more times than any club not named Sevilla and you’re tied with the likes of Juventus, Inter and Atletico in second place on the all time leaderboard. A competition that your club made the final of only 4 years ago.

Are you only allowed to mock other teams if you support a “big” club? You’re allowed to punch down but not punch up?.

The recent trend on here to belittle people who don’t support one of the top teams is so embarrassing. You’re not more special because you chose a big club to support, you haven’t achieved anything.
