Now we know where we are in terms of the best sides in Europe. Good enough to beat Liverpool and Arsenal with the best side playing, not good enough to beat Real Sociedad with many second string players. Manchester City win that game comfortably with an entirely new side side from the one that played in the PL on the weekend.

Or... like most people have said when you have to pass the ball through a defence you struggle rather than playing over the top counter attack

Always the wrong bloody pass in the final third. The attack will struggle to score goals this season and if there is an injury, it’s going to be Ronaldo leading the line. That’s a horrible thought.

Man City wouldn't even play this game. They play Wednesday nights.

Where are they going to fit the postponed Arsenal game in?

Think we might suffer the same fate as Spurs did vs that Dutch side in the Europa Conference last season.

Only possible vacancy seems to be if we get our midweek Man City game postponed in October and PSV agree to play it then.
