Wouldn't mind betting opinion on here would be a smidge different if the bias was on the other fighter.

You’re getting mighty defensive. General consensus from what I’m seeing is 1, 2, 4 Rob and 3, 5 Romero (with 5 being a 10-8) so general consensus is a draw. Some people pretty comfortable with it being a rob win, a lot saying it should have been a draw and some saying it should have been Romero hence people saying it wasn’t a robbery but rather a very close decision. Don’t think too many people would have argued with any of those results but will argue it wasn’t a robbery.

Edit: The formatting on that is putrid.. but you can see that it was split between 27 media members, with the majority saying draw or slight win to Yoel. But enough went for Rob to say it wasn't a robbery.

It wasn’t a robbery. It was close and rob has walked out two times / 50 minutes against this guy as another poster mentioned. He didn’t get comprehensively beaten so he retains and finally wins the real belt. Kudos rob.

Absolute best case for Romero would be a draw. There wasn't any blantant misinterpretation of the match. So when a fight is close and the fight gets judged as such, im not sure any argument can be made that he was robbed.

I remember seeing Romero take a big head kick once before. I think it might have been against Belfort. Just made it look like it was nothing.

Just managed to finish watching this. Definitely one of the best fight cards of the year in my opinion.
