Watch the Alvarez vs Melendez fight. Eddie blew his nose and you could watch his eye enflame like a balloon.

Shitty way for it to end, but a great fight to that point. Surely Tony gets his title shot now.

Cerrone's eye was fooked b4 that late hit, but that late hit wouldn't have helped.
It's funny how they were saying "the punch hit the nose so it doesn't matter", because I think the shot to the nose would stuff with the eye.

Crazy that Marlon didn't start defending the clinch, but taking nothing away from Cejudo, that fight truly cemented him as one of the best at the moment.

Flyweight division truly dead and buried now though.

If Cejudo wants to keep calling himself the GOAT he should move up in weight again and fight a smaller featherweight like Aldo or Edgar.

Then he can call himself GOAT without the whole arena cringing.
