Normally i'd agree, but i dont think the cut was that bad. If the fight kept going the way it was then maybe at the end of the 4th yeh, but was way too early to call it.

Good thing for Masvidal is Nate is too stubborn to fix the holes in his game so it's not like he needs to change his gameplan or anything.

They zoomed in on it when it was getting treated. It looked pretty bad ... At the end of the day it was scar tissue and it wasn't effecting his fighting ability

I tend to agree. As was pointed out, Masvidal was controlling the pace so it's not like a Nate vs. Conor issue and worrying about a fighter gassing. We would have most likely seen another 2 rounds of Nate getting beat up.

I agree. Usually a fighter has to be gushing blood like a horror movie for a stoppage, seems really odd.

Way too much money in the rematch for it not to be run back.

Maybe, if there's one fighter who could turn it around late it is Diaz.

I think the only thing that stops a rematch is Covington beating Usman and them setting up the Masvidal and Covington fight.

Then if Masvidal won they'd do the rematch then but I doubt Masvidal beats Colby.
