Lol Joe 'that's why Herb's the best, he recognised the cage grab was the reason for the stand up.'

Ignored however Marty grabbing the cage 5 times in 10 seconds to avoid being taken down.

Jorge would be the luckiest campaigner ever
Got 2 title fights on the back of a bloke pulling out, now might get a 3rd because he cheap shot Leon 4 years ago.

If anyone should get it its Colby he's the only bloke who actually consistently won rounds against Usman.

Uncle Dana wants the rubber match between Usman and Edwards and wants it sooner rather than later.

Am I imagining things or was Masvidal vs Burns not just announced recently?

Like most fans, I'm upset Nate's being sacrificed to Khamzat. Nate's always a chance against a stand-up fighter, but guys like Bendo, Dos Anjos and Rory Mac tossed him around the octagon. I'm hoping something happens to get that fight called off.

What's next for Colby? Poirier maybe? There's some bad blood there.

And of course, people want to pretend they don't care about him anymore, but Conor McGregor is gonna be returning to fight at 170 eventually. Dana seemed keen on McGregor vs Chandler, who called Conor out for a fight at 170.

Hehe!

So if he was a better fighter who didn't get injured and didn't get dropped by a stiff breeze he'd be champ? ;)
Well I believe he would have come back and beaten Bisping to reclaim his title. From there, who knows. The better fighter part you added; there aren't many better on a skill-for-skill basis.

The chin thing is also a bit overstated - besides Bisping, who has solid KO power when not point fighting, he's been knocked out by Belfort, (an enormous) Romero, and Jan. Those three guys can KO anyone. Also just went three rounds and took some good shots from Costa. The injuries is of course a huge variable, but the division as it is right now would have been perfect for a prime Rockhold.

Masvidal is denying the fight was agreed to. I would as well, horrible fight for him.

Poirier vs Chandler targeted for 281. More than 2 months away, who knows what will happen.

The Bisping fight was all his fault, chin up, hands down, arrogantly inviting it. I actually think from there he had some issues mentally with the fight game and the time off he had between his last fight and this one actually did him some good. I say this as a massive Rockhold fan.

All his knockouts have been his fault; super vulnerable to pretty much everything but especially counter hooks. But he's generally been good enough to get away with it. But definitely agree a bit of time off did him good in other ways.

surely MAsvidal can't get an immediate title fight off the back of a three fight losing streak (all of them pretty convincing too)

And that's exactly why he should pick Jorge. Edwards gets an easier chance to defend, whereas Colby is a legitimate threat.
