For how low the stakes were, it was actually a very solid fight. Just one of those events that manage to be entertaining start to finish (hopefully).
And now it'll be remembered for two very questionable decisions.
 
Why are they carrying on so much?

Round 1 - Close, I had it for Jan
Round 2 - Jan
Round 3 - Jan
Round 4 - Ankalaev
Round 5 - Ankalaev, potentially a case for 10-8

Only shocker in that judging was giving Ankalaev the third.

Yep, I had it that way toss of the coin in the first round.

Jan doesn't lay on the ground for the last 2 rounds and at the end which looked really bad we are all probably saying he won.

I saw the stats at the end and thought all along that Jan had the bigger impact during the fight.

Paddy lost that, last round did Gordan no favours.

I think it just shows that you need to go in with the mindset to dominate from start to finish or just finish someone.
