Alexander Volkanovski v Diego Lopes for the vacant featherweight championship!

Who's excited to see Volk fight for the belt again? It'll be awesome if we can get an Aussie UFC champion again and hopefully it's a sign of good things to come a month later when JDM fights for the welterweight title. Michael Chandler v Paddy Pimblett is the co-main on this card and that should be really interesting too.

I don't think it is. This is the best chance at Volk getting another go at winning and being remembered well. Look what ilia just did to Max. Plus if Volks got it still he'll win, maybe defend and then he can still call out Ilia if it didn't go well for ilia at 155. If Ilia does the unthinkable and wins up there it's probably even better Volk didn't have to face him again

Only the PPV cards have any interesting fights and they have become watered down too.

Really looking forward to this card. I like both Volkanovski & Lopes, but I have a feeling Lopes will do him on the feet early. His striking is average, imo, but he does have little bursts where he goes forward throwing nice little combos, & if he catches Volk, I think he could flatten him. Conversely, the longer the fights goes I fancy Volk. They're both dogs & should be a good fight.

Pimblett v Chandler: Pimblett has fallen in love with striking & his guard is non existent most of the time - throws wild punches with his chin up, so every chance Chandler could land a heavy shot that drops or KO's him. Fancy Pimblett to win by early submission as Chandler is just so wild & with the height & reach advantage, I fancy Pimblett to eventually get him down. If it gets past round 3 or thereabouts, I reckon Pimblett will gas out & will be in trouble.
