I think Hardy thought he could knee in that situation. From his view it’s hard to tell whether the other guy has his knees on the ground or not.

But the right call was made by the ref.

He may have thought that he was on the way up (knees off the ground)

Dirty act but didn’t look dirty....you know what I mean.

Only Hardy can really tell us what he was thinking at that moment.

Just watched it again, no malice, just inexperience and possibly a touch of stupidity. Given that Hardy was standing and bent over, he could have thought Crowder was in the same position. That said, he may not know the rules. Just taking this incident in isolation, he should not cop any hate or disciplinary for the knee.
 
I don't mind him, but I dont see heaps of him either.
He is over the ******* top, a bit like alot of yank media personality types i guess. He is an arrogant prick when talking to other reporters too.

When it comes to the NFL it is laughable at his lack of knowledge
