He's been slept pretty viciously twice in a row now. That was brutal.
You have to wonder if he can fight the same as he used to, that shot came from no where. Must be hard to plan ahead feeling like you could get that elbow at anytime
Yeah this loss is a lot worse than the one to Jan

He also talked about how that loss killed his confidence, if that was the case his confidence would be totally ****ed now

DC said he should take a year off. Could be what he needs.
Nuts for a bloke who was a decision away from being champion. What a sport

He's got time on his side. The guy's got a really solid skillset, if he can go away and sort the mental side out he could come back better.

All of a sudden from 'no' talent to quite a bit has the LHW division.

Smith, Rakic, Jiri, Reyes, Jan, Santos

Plus wild cards like Walker. It's a scary top half dozen

Good to hear from him.

so I just caught up on the Diego Sanchez/manager shemozzle...so UFC terminated his contract...some guy stepped in on short notice to fight Cowboy Cerrone....a guy with the unfortunate name of.......Morono o_O can't wait for Bruce Buffer's Morrrrrrrrrrrrronoooooooooooooooooo!!

I don't like that this is their paid livelihood, their career, their employment and they jeopardise their and their opponents livelihoods - which extends to their families and being able to feed them with these stupid unprofessional antics, it's pathetic.

You expect that kinda crap at BKFC or some hick backwater leagues, but this is the pinnacle of the sport, carry yourself and your family, your sponsors etc better.

It's happened throughout history.

In Ion's case, his behaviour is obviously a conscious choice that is necessary to staying in the UFC. He is a solid fighter, but he's lost every big fight he's ever been in. At least acting like a tool keeps him somewhat relevant and likely around longer than he deserves.

It's him. Every single time he fights.

I noticed this weekend that the commission FINALLY stepped in and stopped him from walking up nose to nose during the announcer's ring call.

It only took 5 years of him doing it for them to finally do something.
The face off stuff really isn't that bad from Ion, imo.
I can understand why they'd stop him walking right across the octagon pre-fight though.

The heavyweight fight was a shocker.

Impressive from Magny, just increases the pressure and output the further into the fight it goes. Neal couldn't keep up.
