Have tortured myself by watching the first half. Every goal comes from a laughable passage of play. 2nd half has started and the commentators are running out of reasons to explain why there are so many turnovers. Two teams definitely trying to outtank each other.

Its embarrassing even if we do win. Hope no other states are getting a broadcast of this :o

WHat's with West Coast not wearing the Yellow jumper. We've had jumper clashes with 3 teams in the last 4-5 weeks. Can't believe this is a professional competition.

i just came to say that thomas swift is probably the worst player in the afl at the moment. he is a complete newb and should not be playing professional football. i played better when i was 15

Watching that game today was the first time I have thought "We are definately tanking."

How can you take it up to Geelong, St Kilda and Hawthorn and then come out with that turnover fest? Tanking is the only explanation and I dont know if I am happy about it or not.:o

If this was all you saw of Swift, you'd swear he was a 15 year old. Heard footsteps all day, couldn't even bounce the ball, hospital handballs and kicks... Half way in, Freo just ran away from him he was that bad.

Just because your Mum told you that, it doesn't mean it is true you know. Mum's say shit to make you feel better about yourself, it's their job.;)

Haven't had an opportunity to watch the game yet but in listening to it on the ABC I don't think I will bother. The commentators on the ABC couldn't believe they were watching an AFL match.

Unless u want to get stoned and have a good laugh then I wouldn't bother. It was that comical. There were passages of play where there were 4 or 5 turnovers in a row. People blame coaching staff on tanking and leave players guilt free, but today you'd swear they were in on it too.

Worst thing about this is we have Richmond at home in Round 22 so we probably won't get a PP anyway.

If we lose all games from now and then beat Richmond I will be SO pissed off :mad: I'd seriosuly consider not renewing my membership.:thumbsd:

I'll take it off your hands for you.

Seriously though, do you guys think it was the right decision to play Swift today? Will he have benefited from the experience or will it be detrimental to his confidence? He was by no means the only player that struggled and I'm certainly not suggesting he won't be a good player in future, but he didn't look like he was ready to play AFL today.

Nah not worried about that game, Richmond play subi really well.

They are also a side that matches up very well against us.

There pace always catches us out.

Could be Richo's last game of AFL, so they will be very pumped up.

The North game's a worry if we want a pp.
