Important tip for newbies.

Even if you will definitely be participating in the live draft I suggest you do the following.

Go into the preseason draft now and preselect a big bunch of players and try and sort them into some sort of order of preference.

Because if for some reason you don't make it online, or your internet goes down etc. those are the picks the system will default to.

It's also important to select the players you want removed.
i.e. You'd really hate to be given someone like a soloman with the 3rd pick of the draft

I just went and picked a bunch and it felt like I was scraping the barrel by the 100th pick

The poll is actually quite a good suggestion with of course the names who voted. Don't want ppl votes count who don't even have a team!

damn, when setting up the league you could choose individual gametime or first game of the round for lock out.

I actually live overseas and am 8 hours behind you guys at the moment. Would prefer the draft on the 15th if it can be done, if not the 22nd would be preferable to the 21st. 7 pm AEST is a great time for me.

Just to be clear I'm happy to go with whatever (please understand I'm not trying to be bossy!), but would prefer to be involved in a live draft if possible.

nah your just bossing us around lol just kidding.

Even if you can be online for the draft its always a good thing to fill in the draft thing, just in case your internet connection gets lost or you have to get some coffee or something else.
