What happens if a star retires or suffers a major injury, your left with scraps forever.

if its like the nba ones then you would have to waive a certain number of players each year to allow for the new batch of draftees. my dynasty nba league only waives 2 a year, i know of some where you're required to drop 6-8 players.

if a player suffers a major injury you consider tanking, joke, you just keep him til next season if he is worth holding onto.

if the players retires, then he would disappear from ultimate footy player list and it would save you waiving a player. if the player retires mid season then you dump his arse like a bad bean pie.

Aargh. I'm sure I suggested we start a dynasty league at the start of the season. I'm in another one with tender at the moment. The main reason I haven't been active in this league (beyond updating my team and responding to the one trade enquiry I've received - which ended in a Blair for Schulz trade - is because of the dynasty league. I would be in it but, honestly, I'm not sure I could handle two dynasty leagues.

A mate of mine is in a dynasty league.
It is actually their own comp. They designed it years ago.

They only play 12 players each week.
And you have to designate what the players role is each week.
I.e. you select a defensive midfielder and you only get his stats for tackles etc.

Goal kickers only give you stats for goals. etc. etc.

They meet up at a pub at the start of the year to do a small draft. And they meet up mid year for a mid season draft. Quite interesting.

Im keen for a dynasty league.

This style of fantasy game has the wood on supercoach and dreamteam that is for sure.

Is there a way we can turn our league into a dynasty at the end of the season?

Might have to look at some of the categories or, is everyone happy with as it stands?

I would like disposals replaced with something else. Another category like 1%'s, rebound 50, fwd pressure acts etc just something different. It looks like a lot of the teams that don't have high disposal getters suffer in multiple categories. The players they have though do the grunt work in different areas. I think it would even it out a bit.
