I'm happy with either draft style, but if we are going to do a slow online draft, we are probably going to want to get the ball rolling within the next 2 weeks.

I was just mucking around with it the other day and started a league up.

The 2 really frustrating things for AFL Fantasy are..
1. Your LOWEST scoring bench player for that position actually goes to your total if you have a 0. Which doesn't make sense. I don't know why you cant select who you want to cover. Really annoying that one.
2. The waiver system - seems you can have reverse ladder order waiver system, OR this system where week one you have pick 10, next week you have pick 9, week 8 you have pick 8, and it cycles through the picks like that for everyone, moving up 1 spot each week regardless of if your waiver is used or not.

One other thing to note, is that if we play with 10 players, we are forced to play with 2 rucks. This cannot be changed. If we want to play the 6 forwards/defenders, 8 midfielders etc, then it has to be 2 rucks, which caused issues last year....

Danoz has dropped out. Haven't heard boo from Allefgib. Happy to roll with 8 if we like, but also happy to expand to the original 10, seems a bit more fun with those extra 2 and makes drafting more challenging. I asked CC if he wanted back in but he's a no go unfortunately.

My vote would be a slow draft, unless we can sit down and allocate a Monday, Friday or Sunday night to get 80% of it done. They're the only nights I'm free.
I'm off to Bali from the 5th to the 15th so out of action across that period.

Okay - here's the decision.

It will be an AF league. I'm happy to set it up and I'll start the new thread.

Unless anyone else wants it, I'll volunteer to be commissioner and I promise to not be a campaigner.

We'll do a slow draft - but let's try and move it along. No one is allowed to bitch.

Draft starts AFTER tonight's game. I'm assuming everyone will be in front of their phone tonight and able to register.

In the meantime -AT54M4EZ is the league code.

10 teams, snake draft, 22 players in squad, 6 teams in finals.

Apart from not having an app which is frustrating as **** I think it's great and the best of the lot.

I might be biased because I dont use this platform at all, but it seems to be pretty average.

I think the only benefit it has, is having an app.

Apart from that I agree, everything is else is pretty mediocre to say the least.

But happy to trial it for a season at least and see how badly it goes haha

Personally, I only play AF. But I get that others play RDT and SC.

But Ultimate Footy seems like it's dieing on the vine at the minute. Maybe it'll improve in the future.

Nothing wrong as such, im just new to it and theyve got all the different types of games in the one applet. I got confused when trying to join the league, let alone drafting or playing.

I'd much prefer AF over any others mentioned. I wouldnt play if it was on those platforms. I at least use the AFL website which is a gateway.

Not sure re: UF dying. Our league has expanded from 12 teams to 20 teams in 3 years though. Now have a two-tiered competition happening.
Everyone in there seems to love the UF set up. Its not as 'pretty' as AF but it works.

No app sucks, although last year they fixed the way it looked on the web on your phone. I didnt find it too bad.
The app it did have stunk.
