Yeah no time for me to run this but I'll play if u want to run it. If u want to do a keeper league I suggest more than 2 keepers. Anywhere from full keeper/dynasty league to 25-50% of roster as keepers would be good but up to you since you'll be the one doing the work of running a dynasty league.

Well i think it depends what everyone wants. Your options go pretty mucb like this

1. Full keeper dynasty/league - Works the same as a genuine AFL list after the initial draft, all players stay with their teams for the duration of their careers unless traded or delisted. The draft each year consists of rookies and players in the free agent pool.

2. Part keeper league - League decides on a number of keepers, anywhere from 1 to 30. If going this option i think a number around 10-25 would be about right. Each year the coach nominates his keepers, the rest of his list is released into the draft. In this format we could have 2 drafts, one for the delisted guys/free agents and one for the rookies or all lumped in together.

3. Standard re-draft league, the least appealing option for me, im a bit bored of redraft leagues in general and enjoy dynasty leagues a lot more.

Personally i like options 1 and 2, full dynasty would normally be my choice but i have 2 dynasty teams already so i wouldn't mind trying a part keeper league if going that way id vote for 15-20 keepers each year

Yeah, I can appreciate that, thanks for the guidance and awesome work for running it over the last couple of years.

I'm thinking having 4 keepers. If we have too many then if someone has a really bad season it could stop them from going on the next season, but 4 is a good nucleus for a team.

Happy to listen to others opinions though.

Is the OP going to be edited to feature the 2019 champion?

I’m in for season 2020, aiming to make it 2 from 2. Also I think keepers generally tends to favour whoever had the highest picks for that particular first season- clean slate each year seems fairer but I’m not really too fussed either way.
