Get ready for some classic Clarkson low-ticka 9 V 3 ultraflooding tonight. Hawks fans - do you really want your team playing this way? Pathetic tactics. :)

As I sat watching the game I thought about all of these kinds of comments. The funny thing was that Carlton only had 3 forwards in their 50 at the most in the game and more often had one or two.

They would have liked to have been able to flood but were too slow in getting from end to end!

This is going to be an interesting game tactically. A real clash of tactics. These teams play a completely opposite style of footy. The Hawks ultraflood, and rely on massive uncontested possession, and chip the ball patiently into the forward 50. The young Blues only know one way – fast, attacking, direct footy, fearless and at times a bit reckless, but always great to watch. They thrive on winning contested possession, and back their impressive KP forward talent in any pack situation. Hoping for a great game. :)

Ouch!

No doubt parrot won't touch this thread now he's burned himself again. I don't think this guy even goes to games.
Parrot normally takes a hiatus until Carlton wins a game and then posts about how their young talent has finally broken through - It's been happening for three years now.

So don't expect to see him until the NAB Cup next year :p

Funniest thing was olarearnshaw commenting in the third quarter " Blues need to try the ultra-flood"

Anyway thats for 1995 you blue scum

Oh the shame.

This thread is a classic. There's just so much for Parrot to take and shove back in his big mouth.
Carlton's performance on friday night was a disgraceful joke.
Even though you were obviously out played by a superior team there were times where it was there for all to see that Carlton players just didn't want to be involved in the contest.

Suck it up little fella.

Look forward to reading parrot's next post in 2008! :thumbsu:
No #1 pick to Carlton please... they can have 1 more win this year, and not against Collingwood. plzkthx.
