McCeery(HFF) Mihocek(CHF) Thomas(HFF)

Insert others (Pendles, Sidey, WHE etc) for McCreery/Thomas.

With the right leading patterns/set plays/rotation this could be dangerous.

Gotta do something different!

Grateful for others’ thoughts/different fwd lineups.

Difficult to stop the opponent’s switch with this slow forward line, and given the importance of forward pressure these days, not sure how this super tall team would work.

Anyhow, our forward delivery had been crap, it doesn’t really matter who is in it at the moment.

And when the ball hits the ground were as ****ed as Jono Pattons insta account

We don't move the ball well enough to facilitiate too many marking targets. If De Goey is our full forward then he's going to be the most targeted player and all the other marking targets will suffer through lack of supply, so we have to make sure the rest complement him and offer something else other than marking. I don't think Cox does that.

I don't like the Mihocek/De Goey CHF/FF combination because neither crash backs like a traditional key forward but its our best option atm unless we want to persist with Moore forward.

Good feedback.
I similarly posted an idea under a different user name a few years back about Crisp playing HBF and also got “no” as the first reply.
How do you reckon that one ended up?
Cox gives no second effort.
I’m happy to happy to see talls if they have a second effort ability.
I also liked Pendlebury at half forward. It’s time for a new role in his twilight years.
