I have never been a fan of Brett Allen he usually dont pay many free kicks during a game hence why he dont make many errors. However in saying that Brett Allen you are a dog there is no way known that was a free kick let alone a 50mtrs. I know were an umpire lives however its not Allen although it would be good to find this bastard.

What ticks me off even more was when hird tackled Meyer which caused a turn over and essendon kicked a goal. I have no doubt that had it been any other player on the field it would have been a push in the back.
I dont agree with that rule because i believe the tackler is making the play but i also i thinks its an example of how pathetic the Umpires actually are. Its a professional sport umpired by amateurs??

Under the new rule it was definitely a free kick.
The 50m penalty was harsh but not the end of the world. Blame your team for not playing better - it wasn't the umpire's fault in this case.

we were playing great footy. richo took a regulation mark. if it was down the other side, lloyd taking mark he wouldve played on and goaled just like anyone else would. i did not hear the whistle and i was in the crowd. right in front of Brett Allen. Had a thermos in my hand, needed to hold my hand back from throwing it at allen. should i throw it at you, JAZZ?

maybe you guys should buy some protection yourselves too. I mean, it was only $20k, and obviously now we get a completely free run from the umpires. Hirdy is untouchable, Lloyd gets a million frees per game, and all the critical ones go against the opposition. Life's sweet, and all for just $20k!! Got me buggered why youse just don't do the same

If it was 50 against Richo why was McPhee not penalised against in the 2nd quarter? Same as the Sugar 50 which Hird got away with. 2 50's against us and none for the Bombers. 2 identical incidents. Umpires are a different breed of human. Smug, nobodies that have far too much sense of their own importance. Weak, snivelling nerds handing out rules to fit athletes, they love it. It is the ultimate payback for the crap they copped at school!
