Cmon Goldy,smell the roses.
Geoff Raines got no votes in a year he was near our best player in Richmond's premiership year.

That's bad but I think my favourite is Kevin Bartlett being the best player in the league for a decade and they give a Brownlow to Graeme Teasdale

Bernie Quinlan had to share the podium with Barry Round.
Would be like Alex Rance sharing the podium with Zac Dawson.

I'd love to get an unbiased view, any neutrals watching all of our games plus others that can give an unbiased opinion?

I also agree, the umpiring has been s**t and like last weekend, became a joke at times with the number of calls against us.

We've had TWENTY more free kicks paid against us than any other team in the comp. What are we doing so differently to every other side in the AFL?

Wear yellow and black

I went nuts at the holding the ball call that was paid too high. Replay at the ground confirmed bad call. Ended up being a two goal swing. Caddy goal I went nuts about, not because it wasn't technically a free kick but because it never ever gets paid. Inconsistent and pivotal moment. I think that's why people get pissed off.
There was a high kick come in under the main scoreboard and castanya got picked up and thrown to the ground while ball was in the air...anyone see that?
But there were some howlers that they didn't get and a couple of dropping the balls against us that stood out a bit.
Martins mark was questionable.
I'm trying not to go stupid over free kicks, but sometimes you get so emotionally involved it is difficult. But it's done, The game is difficult to adjudicate so move on.

Some might say that umpires don't influence results and some will say they do, but one thing umpires do do and that is change momentum in a game.

Example: dogs v swans in round 2, swans charging at dogs and in the last qtr they level the scores and have all the momentum and dogs look a defeated side, enter the umpires, awarded 5 rapid fire free kicks to dogs off which the dogs goaled twice from and Sydney were sunk as the dogs suddenly had all the momentum and in that time the swans couldn't buy a free as the dogs went on to win.

How many times have we seen a team on fire then the umpires pluck multiple frees out of their arse and award them to the team up against it.

Has there been an apology for caddys 3/4 time goal being overturned , I'm not across it . The umpiring this year has fluctuated between atrocious to down right deplorable , plain incompetent decsisons that make a mockery that they're actually paid to do it , Ive just about had enough

The Herald Sun article titled "Were the Tigers robbed" had alot of neutrals in the comments saying we were indeed robbed by that Jack supposed tackle,a rort if ever I've seen one and when umpires make decisions like that, you don't trust them for the rest of the game but his cover was blown in the third.

Fitzroy fan said the game of AFL is now corrupt when umpires do stuff like that.
I'm not letting this shit hide away under the carpet, umpires need to be accountable like players.

Players get bagged for having shit games, why can't the umpires?

I'm not going to bag the Umpires - tough gig - but your comment about more accountability is something I would like to see. I think Coaches ought to be able to comment on decisions more honestly, rightly or wrongly, at the post game interview. Coaches have an integrity to maintain so it shouldn't got out of hand and we might get a better discussion than some of the PC bulldust we hear at times.

**** the umps. They love pissing people off. If they weren't attention seeking whores I'd cut them some slack.

I'm not saying they cost us games as we are clearly our own worse enemy but they're getting too involved when they should be unnoticeable.
