What to do with umps...Do we...?

  • Set up a relegation system so bad umps get dropped and new ones get promoted after bad umpiring

  • Cut the umpiring ranks down, and have the umpires do 2 games a week each

Something needs to be done...it's just getting to the stage bad umpiring will screw up a final or even a Grand Final...
 
Go back to a 2 umpire system - 3 different interpretations of the rules is 2 too many.
