A celebration for Campbell McDonald today.
Campbell made his umpiring debut in 1975 therefore at Elsternwick Park today as Old Melburnians host Williamstown CYMS, Campbell celebrates his 50th year as an umpire. A dinner is being held tonight at the Elsternwick Hotel too.

Thank GodCooper Macdonald to Beaumaris meaning it's Graham Templar and Adrian Keane looking after the goal umpires.
3 umpires have joined the VFL - Patrick Sexton, Jordan Gibson (field) and Zane White (boundary). Once again proving that the competition is the strongest breeding ground for umpiring in Victoria.
And as for me...season 2026 will..finally...be my last.
