We've all been there, we've all copped shit umpiring from them. It's not even surprising anymore. When it's not your side it's just plain funny.

We copped what we deserved for letting them back in the game and bringing the crowd back into it. Ask Brad why he brought in two guys who could barely run (Grima and Swallow). Ask Spud why he got outbodied by a peanut like Hill. Ask Petrie why he can't kick a regulation goal when the pressure is on late in a game. Ask Fumbles (Adams) what he has done to get a game of footy. Why do we continue to allow Atley to play soft roles down back, especially on a wide ground like Subi.

Come on Tas, regardless of what is going on in terms of scoreboard, time of the game, position on the ground, every contest should be judged fairly on it's merits.

When this thread was created at ~1/2 time, was completely unjustified.
Free kicks were 6-7 North's way, umps were letting pretty much everything go, only calling the obvious, doing a great job. Then they just lost the plot towards the end.
You'd think the umps would be able to see through Selwood and Shuey's constant milking by now.

No we didn't. We didn't have our shit together and were still in front of an ordinary team, a team which lost to Port and Carlton. We continue to pick and carry passengers in our side, if it continues, we will get more of these disappointing losses.

Meanwhile it was clearly picked up on the mic that the umpire said it was for the second tackle... what farken second tackle??

Its as much about the ones that arent paid as the ones that are.
The tiggy touch ones seemed to get paid to WC, but North did not seem to get the same benefit.
There was a North player tackled around HF with about a minute to go and looked to be some incidental high contact.....high contact none the less......but it wasnt paid. Less than a minute late Eagles get a 50/50 free on the boundary line and the rest is history.

I am not a big fan of Brad Scott, but I tough he handled himself very well in the press conference.
Free kick or no free kick, Nic Nat should not have been allowed a free run at the football like he was, and I think that is what your coach will be focusing on.........classy.

I am pissed, for many reasons and I was swearing my nut off at the TV, but it is what happens when you go to Perth. Our players knew they had to take their chances and had to put the sword to the Eagles when they had the opportunity to.

If Petrie kicked that 'leader' goal late in the game the umpiring would have been a non-event. Under those circumstances, the umpiring is never going to change with the muppets we have running the show. We can't control that, we can control what we do.

Why is that commentators are too scared to say what really happened. How can Denis Committee go on about what a great win it was for the eagles when the game was clearly decided by some of the most bias umpiring at critical times I can ever remember. The nearest game to this decided by the umps was a Fitzroy loss to Adelaide in Adelaide many years ago.

Please Port kicked 3 in a row from frees in the last 2 of whcich were dubious at best and one technical.

This is what umpires always do when a team gets about 3 or 4 goals in front in every game I watch.
