The most ironic free was when we got pinged for throwing the ball. Lol.
Noticed it and all you do is laugh. The umpires took the piss tonight. They swing the momentum like a pendiulum absolutely disgusting. With all the throwing of the ball that was happening in the third quarter, the pies had to contend with all the marks in forward 50 called play on. Why even show up knowing justin shimdt is umpiring.

Now you/we all know how Hawks, GWS and Swans felt last finals series.

Umpiring tonight was atrocious, moores mark and then his free kick when we had momentum in the contest gets called high, the amount of times they just dropped the ball and yet us whenever we touched it got pinged straight away. Clokes free kicks was never ever given that while at collingwood goes there suddenly gets free kicks for blocking lol. Everytime we gained momentum there was a free kick against. Pendlebury got butcheres in the marking contest play on

Justin Schmidt is just ****ing inept. He always finds ways to ****ing screw us.

I remember a few years ago against Hawthorn. We had all the momentum and then Pendlebury got called for a throw when he clearly handballed. The free resulted in a goal for the Hawks which triggered a 4 goal run for them that we never recovered from. **** Justin Schmidt.

Find the frustration levels always peak when watching pies vs bulldogs/hawks/eagles and to a lesser extent the tigers

Al Clarkson, in my tin foil hat theory, is a master at coaching teams to draw Dubious frees and disguising htb, htm decisions. All his deputies have carried the torch with honor.

Thr shepherd- hold of man on the mark, the instant drop when you get tackled in traffic, the duck (admittedly selwood is the master but bulldogs, tigers, eagles, hawks are quite well represented), the tap that is applauded as skill but aren't half of them throws, the endlesssssssss 10m kicks.

Got to be a few goals a game advantage from his tactics. Drives me mad.... and salty

And my theory is Collingwood does not get the benefit of the doubt for about half a second decision on decision.

Umpires are only human (yes I know....) but can caught up in the fad of the moment eg the Bulldogs and bob Murphy are everyone's favourite.

(You know bob Murphy premiership captain, errr wait a minute....)

I didn't think they were that bad overall, but geez I thought there were a few very blatant instances of Bulldog players sliding in and taking our legs out. It happened to Schade which resulted in a Bulldog goal and also to Ramsay on a wing, it seemed very, very obvious.

Well they got away with it in the GF when Wood (I think it was him) nearly broke Hanneberys leg.

And the non mark to Moore?
I just watched Jessie Hogan do the same thing and was awarded the mark.
Goal resulted.
DEAD SET CHEAT!

Had exactly the same thought and reaction here. Unbelievable!

Well, I just saw TippenWoody (sp?) toe poke the ball forward in an attempt to use his speed to run on to it and create.
2 toe pokes, the second ran oob, with two Hawks trailing him, so under extreme pressure but still trying to create.
The scumpire decides that he can read Tippy's mind and call deliberate.
Free kick to Hawthorn.
DEAD SET CHEATS.

Firstly our loss to Richmond had nothing to do with the umps, we lost that ourselves, but the lack of consistency is often bizarre.

First quarter White gets the footy in the Richmond forward line, is tackled, brought to ground and the umpire takes an eternity allowing play to continue as White desperately tries to get rid of the footy with a couple of blokes lying on him. Umpire Curtis Deboy (11) pings White for holding the ball, while I don't like those decisions they're not uncommon.

A few minutes later rise and repeat ball again in the Richmond forward 50 this time however a Richmond player is the one tackled and brought to ground, similar circumstances, this however time Umpire Curtis Deboy (11) immediately calls for a ball up.

Deboy has only umpired 17 games, but I sense he's one to watch.

Nankervis spends the entire night holding Grundy, 4th qtr umpire calls free against Grundy for wrapping an arm around. I just, I don't even. It's not like Nankervis wasn't even ever disguising it, Grundy would set in front and he would wrap one or both arms around him to try and move him out of the way.
