Find it perplexing so many of our supporters are disgruntled over Friday's umpiring.

We lost because we were super sh*t. If anything, Gold Coast's goal kicking made the score look flattering.

It felt like a 40 point loss.
I thought the umpiring had no factor, but 11-1 in the last is what you remember and not easy to ignore. It was still hard to watch all those tiggy touchwood frees.

Hockings rule book he accidentally left in a taxi:

Look around on the mark? PLAY ON!

Run around the mark after the siren for a shot on goal? Play on!

Kick it 10.5 metres? It's a mark!

Kick it 20 metres in your defensive 50? PLAY ON!

Ball carrier runs around the mark with the stand rule? I won't call play on until the ball carrier is miles away from you!

Send the ball out of bounds deliberately? I might call it deliberate, I might not, depends on how much noise the crowd make and who's winning and who I like!

Send the ball out of bounds by accident? I might call it deliberate, I might not, depends on how much noise the crowd make and who's winning and who I like!

Take possession of the ball, get tackled and spun around once and handball it? Play on!

Take possession of the ball, get tackled and drop ball? Play on or Ping tackler for Holding!

Take possession of the ball, get tackled and throw ball? Play on or Ping tackler for Holding!

Take possession of the ball at pace, get tackled immediately? Holding the ball! Especially if it's in a teams D50

Forward gets pushed out in a marking contest? Push out!

Defender gets pushed out in a marking contest? Play on (if dropped) or Mark!

I can no longer watch neutral games because decisions like these happen far too often, it's deciding games and it shits me

the most striking comment is umpiring deciding games , match fixing

Guess we know what rule of the week is.... dangerous tackle. Which is any tackle by a Richmond player which takes an opposition player to ground. Only the Nank one was legitimately there.
Won’t be heard of again this weekend, AFL denies there is a rule of the week, even the commentators are calling them out on it, the beginning of the day for Gilligan

If you think we aren't umpired differently then you have rocks in your head.

Dimma in his press conference:

"I hope the rest of the round is umpired the same and we're not being umpired differently".

This will make it interesting , how’s their integrity officer going to handle this one

Loved the way Shockings eyes never left Dimma. Watch him turn his head as he walks by

Burning bad!

Does anyone know how many times we have won the Free kick count in a match this season?

Those dropping the ball/holding the ball decisions were horrific. Have been for ages.
But they seem to happen 20m from goal and get ignored.
And the one against Bolton? Wasn’t even tackled, slipped when he tried to kick. I’m not saying they were cheating, it’s just incompetence.

The West Coast and Suns games were on the line in the respective last quarters. In those combined quarters we earned 2 free kicks. We gave away 19 free kicks. I'm not saying the 19 free kicks were not there, but for us to win 2 free kicks is diabolical.

Spot on. It was of a very low standard for both sides for 3 quarters and in no way was leading to influence the result. The last quarter, was an abomination of 11 frees to 1, which influenced the outcome. Regardless, we did not deserve to win. But how anyone can find equal frees for both teams for 60 minutes, and then effective ensure the outcome in 20 is incredibly frustrating.

From memory, was similar against the Eagles. An avalanche of frees until they got across the line.
When the umpires are not held accountable it will always be open to rorting.

We've had a few games this year where a free kick/non call against us, directly costed us the match.

Robbie gray non deliberate against port.
Liam Ryan 8 meter kick to Kennedy against eagles.
Soft 50 against Cotch today plus the george deliberate.
Whole first half against lions earlier in the year.

Flip those results around and we are on track for top 4.
