The club should ask for explanation that was pathetic , but watch it swept underneath the carpet umpires in our game are not accountable for there mistakes and if there called out it's umpire bashing not a good look for junior level etc BS there immune to criticism like the afl any sport in the world umpires a accountable protected here.

Happened with that early Skats game with the short kick?!? AFL admitted the Maggott got it wrong...then shut up shop immediately when they realized they would be in the Media spotlight to explain all the unending bull sheet RFC frees against instead of quietly Shocking a certain team into the GF!

The Stand rule has its drawbacks but its another opportunity for umpires to hear their own voices in a game thus making them feel more a part of it. The AFL is all about inclusivity.

Has anyone seen another one of those free kicks paid this year? This century?

Right I’ve given myself about 5 hours before I launch into an absolute Rant
crows played well today credit to them, but that umpiring turned the game on its head. Every 50/50 call, every soft call given to them. Even the most obvious of Frees not given to us. Lynch and Jack get manhandled every week and they get nothing. 33-13. Is that even a real number? apparently now you can get swung 360 and throw the ball away and it’s still play on. What happened to incorrect disposal? Where’s the clarity on the htb rule? Right there isn’t any, they just make it up as they go.
should we go through the free kick differentials for the last 5 seasons? Or how about back to 2016 before we were even competitive. It is a farce, an absolute disgrace that we have to put up with every single week.
so Gil, Hocking, and everyone else at HQ who made the stupid rules, “STAND, OUTSIDE 5” the umpires who target us every week like Chamberlin and Ogorman, a big fat **** you from every Richmond supporter. Congrats on successfully ruining the game. You lot are corrupt to the core

Can't do anything about it either because opposition fans love it, and it's just "whinging".

Fair enough we give away a lot of free kicks, but we don't get them back, and that's the problem.

Every other team can't be ultra disciplined against Richmond every week, every year.

Yep. On interstate territory you simply cannot win with a 33-13 free kick count if you’re not a gun side…. which we aren’t. It’s 20 extra possessions on a platter from a contested situation. Crows also kicked I think 12 goals straight from set shots before their first miss ….. 33-13 and 12 straight… without Dusty and Grimes we were no chance against a Crows side that has been pretty competitive all season.

It was incredible to see how bias it was. We played ordinary and Pickett gave a stupid head high at a crucial time and there were probably another couple of stupid ones too.
But that 480 arms free throw was next level bad but there was one worse. THE 10m KICK that wasn’t awarded a mark before we tackled and then paid a mark and a 50m penalty lost me to the game !!!
Stupidity at its highest by the umpire sheesh!
The Dodee for one for no apparent reason a decent tackle and another crazy free for nothing my god what garbage!
But no commentary it was silent.
