I agree with Steph, numbers mean nothing if you do not have the context behind the decisions. If Collingwood gets 20 free kicks in the back pocket and the oposition get 5 incorect decisions in front of goal and kick 5 goals and we loose by 2 points, the numbers will mean absolutely nothing.
The bigger picture is that there are a number of decisions in each game that cost us between 1-5 goals and we loose by less then 6 points. That is the problem with umpiring decisions. It has nothing to do with numbers. Now if someone is brave enough to go back to the start of the season and map out on a footy field where the free kicks happen both for and against Collingwood, we will have something to stand on. Only the incorect ones or the questionable ones will do.
