Blair Cronin absolute gun. stiff not to be the ebst player in the carnival.
best on in almost 4 out of the 5 games.
bugg= absolute freak and terriffic bloke
buckley= going to be a superstar, undersized but still dominates with his exceptional skills on both side. quick also. kicked an unbelievable goal in the granny.
purcell= overrated. just athletic.
mullins= freak but size is going to be a problem. stiff to miss on all aus.
shiel= freak, afl for sure.
kelly= best full back in the comp with the help of maitland and the one sided keely.

whats the dirt on considine? was he good?:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

mate ive known seb for bout 8 years and played with him in the yarra footy team in the metro championships...he is incredibly quick but doesnt have the greatest skills
ill tell you why he didnt play many games and still walked in...cause of his dad as i said previously
you cant walk into a state team not playing one club or school game and when he only played in the last trial match at they tryouts...in which he got 4 kicks

I think you missed the point that Purcell was BOG in the final for Vic Metro.
Agree that his skills can be improved - but this is a lot easier than improving athleticism (which is often natural).
I have seen him play quite a few games over the years in the YDJFL and he pretty much dominated every game i have seen.

Seen Mullins and Buckley play a few games for Ivanhoe Grammar this year. They certainly didn't dominate (and IG got thrashed in both).

Mullins looked too short , Buckley is growing and looks more of an AFL possible.

lets just get one thing straight its yjfl and ydjfl
i played in the yjfl rep teams with seb and i can assure you he didnt dominate
ricky mullins is an un believable played he doesnt try in school footy because he doesnt want to get injured/buggered for his club games on the following day...hes on scholarship there and is meant to be in the 1sts but he didnt want to
i agree about buckley though incredible player great verticle leap and skills can take a great grab

Mullins sounds like a bit of a d1k then. On scholarship and doesnt wanna play firsts? Does he not realise that school football is a lot more important than club football on a sunday. I can guarentee than you wont get drafted out of club footy but you will out of school football. I have heard a bit about him and have seen him play in yarra and stuff and no doubt he is one of the more domineering players but wrong attitude will result in no draft.

mate you can't say the only reason Purcell got in was cause of his Dad
i have played him in the APS and he is an absolute freak
does anyone no why he hasn't been playing this year. Also Will Leveini is a freak but Paine is over rated. Last two matches for MGS i have seen him play he has done nothing for the team. Also the person who said Nick Daish is good is a joke. The only thing he does is kick out from full back

mate u r obviously an idiot, to say that a kid who played CHB for the vic team is shit IS a load of shit, u obviously have no idea. u must have been one of those pathetic people for geelong who didnt get a kick, like no 2 or number 23. u guys were embarracing on leveni, he dominated out of the middle and u couldnt do anything bout him,all ur midfielders just sat behind the ball waiting for a handpass

mate first of all we beat you by 50 points
and im sure he is a very good player to be picked in the vic metro squad
but both times he has played us he has been dominated by our backs when he has gone forward, and also melbourne grammar are a two man team

yeah mate fair enough u beat us, but did u have any input into the win. im gonna guess at no because if u were any good we would have heard ur name mentioned as a good player. secondly he wasnt in the squad he was the CHB for the vic metro team, give him some credibility!! and secondly the first time we played u guys, he was on one leg with a bad back, and he was sick, u might have seen him throwing up in teh bins after the game!! and in the second match players r allowed to go through a match without completely dominating the whole thing, even lance franklin, gary ablett, chris judd all have off days

the only reason you probably didn't hear of me is cause i was playing on my man, something which your backs struggled to do. With three of our forwards kicking 7, 6 and 4 goals. And i realise he was in the Vic Metro team i just can't give him any credibility because all the times i have seen him play he hasn't really done anything. Of course players go through a match without dominating the whole thing i just though i player who was picked in such a vital position for Vic metro should have more of an impact. And if he does play CHB what was he doing when our forwards were kicking so many goals.

mate, i'll tell you what, i heard your name plenty of times and i saw you touch the ball probably 3 times, so what the hell are you doing saying that paine is shit, he made vic metro and you can't even touch the bloody ball more the 3 times in a game, so my advice is that you just shut down your account cause no offence you are horrible at footy..

first of all is that your only defence from what i just said, and how can you say i'm shit if you don't even know who i am.

if you had of read what i wrote you would of realised i said '' i saw you touch the ball about 3 times'' and heard your name, so i'm pretty sure i can say your crap

yeah it is footy its just hte geelong guys play it like soccer they are that soft. aside from that, going back to the original topic of under 15 state squad. one player hu was unlucky to miss out was no 3 for melbourne Grammar. I think his name was Jon Benjamin, from wat i heard after the game. he was an excellent full back with a good ability to read the play from the packs. He defensive work on the full forward was excellent, matching his pace at every contest, and did not shirk the issue once, infact he seemed to love a bit of a fight. he had very good marks for when there was an oppurtunity to take a mark and switch. his kick was also very penertrating, going at least 45m with some of his biggest. THe only question mark would be over his fitness, but i heard he does a tan in 14 so he goes alright there too. he was asked to represent Vic Metro in the recent carnival but his grandma passed away and did not participate. he said that footy wasnt everything thing and that you need to be a family man and he told me to keep it real bruz, hes an interesting character n shit. so i would keep one eye out for this kid in the future, definately a
prospect for the future n shit

oi mate just hand ova ur no. to me n then we can settle it, that ur worthless to ur team, last 2 b pikd and just filling up the numbers for ur crappy skool. do u even think ur skool should b considered into the aps? oh yeah also u guys r the softest footballers iv ever playd against the amount of diving u did ud think u should b boarding the plane soon 2 take ur dive in beijing! bloody hell!

the good thing about our school is that we are very even right across the board. Can't wait to verse you next year when your only two good players go into firsts. And also wtf diving. What are you talking about. And our player who had been kneed in the back in a marking contest who as soon as he got back on got punched in the same spot from a melbourne grammar player. Have a look at your own team before you start having a go at mine.

we were never having a go at your team, we were arguing how crap you are and how good paine is, when you start getting more then 3 touches we'll start arguing again.. and i'll tell you what, i can't wait to play you guys again.. but hopefully you get more then 3 touches and make A's next year.

Are you suggesting that leveni and paine will get into the first for MGS, then your suggesting that paine is good. Case closed.

blair cronin is an absolute freak, will go a long way:thumbsu:
hes a medium sized midfielder with a big build, has exceptional foot skills on both feet and can take a great mark, one to watch in the future..
