Dion Alessi going up to 18's next year, not really well known, goes in hard nearly every week. Plays for keilor, tough nut. Got some great pace on him also.

let me tell you, orange boots and not getting a kick is not a good look, everyone down at craigieburn knows exactly that.
he left the club after 2 rounds in those orange boots and no possesions.
he couldnt hack it in edfl a grade.
the better players in b grade strive to get themselves to the highest level, this kid couldnt hack the hard work and had to go down to b grade to get a kick.

1.He left CJFC because the coach had no idea what he was doin.
2.Coach and staff have no respect for players.
3.Club chose injured players to play EDFL rep instead of choosing players that had talent.
Bag him all your want but CJFC are the ones who lost a great player, He is at a better club with morals not to mention winning grandfinal , Oh thats right CJFC wouldnt know what that would be like as they choked in both 16 sides ...You only beat Keilor and aberfeldie when he played , so if he doesnt have talent then why is he at calder instead of the so called great players that you all name on here from CJFC that did not make calder. I think it is the best thing his family done removing him from this club as he now has the support of a club that is going somewhere.How can you say he cant hack high level footy , are you saying calder is easy and anyone can get a game there? West Coburg are a club with morals and standards and don't resort to dirty tactics to get their teams through to finals , maybe if you went to school learnt how to spell and learnt manners little man you might step out of that attitude you have and see that team spirit and real hard work can get you somewhere in life , other than a bitter disapointed little boy that would rather bag other peoples achievements than learn and achieve
his own . Not everyone can be in A grade but now that they won the Grand Final who knows you might just be seeing more of them .

so you are saying that the only reason craigieburn defeated keilor & aberfeldie only because of ben drummond?
how many possesions did he have in those games? let me tell you, he would have tied his shoes more in those games then the amount of possesions that he got, if you are to say one player is the difference? it wasnt ben drummond, if craigieburn were to say they lost because they were a player short, it was aiden coakley, one of the best backman ever to play junior football, who for family reasons had to move back to south australia midway through the year.
if you saw the games against keilor and aberfeldie, you would know, craigieburn were a tall defender short, and lacking in the kick ins, which aiden was for craigieburn.
as for choking in the finals? craigieburn were definetley not the best side in either division 1 or 4. and were beaten by better teams that they werent expected to beat anyway.
as for the bagging of the cburn coach, i dont know who you are and where you gather this infomation, but he was respected by every single one of the players in the side, except for one, and that one who thought he was better then what he was, and he left. the craigieburn coach has been involved with vic metro, western jets & calder cannons, so he is a very good bluffer if you think he doesnt know what his doing.
as for calder cannons, i cant speak for selecters, but id be saying ben drummond last to long there, unless he decides to put his head over the footy, his got all the skills you can ask for, but if he cant win the footy for himself, whats the point in having those skills?

Guess what you imbocile, yes your coach is a great bluffer , the truth is your coach rang the family and admitted that it was his and his staffs wrong doing that made Ben leave the club so get your information right and go ask your coach the real reason as to why he left.
As for Calder you better go down and tell them what they are doing wrong mate as they think Ben is a great player and he has performed well during Calder games , the reason they have these DEVELOPMENT squads is so they can fine tune these already talented players and work on their weaknesses.As for West Coburg a joke the the real joke is you to think that the only reason CJFC u16 lost is because they went up against stronger teams well then dont be bagging a team who won a flag in their grade as we can clearly see your 16 didnt belong in AGrade and should be in the what you all are calling lower class B Grade . You say he didnt respect the coach well you are wrong as he stayed longer than he should have and you have to give respect to get it and now everyone can see what sort of back stabbing team mates the u16 have amongst them , if that is how you guys are behind each others backs then I think even Jacana would be looking a better club to be at than CJFC.
Not having Ben on the team against those 2 clubs would have contributed to your loss as no one person makes a team it is a joint team effort which your u16 fail to deliver everytime you hit the field .He was always on the ball , hungry players chase the ball and are under it as if they are back in u10's trying to get a touch as those with talent take their position on the field and read the play before chasing it down and not causing turnovers. I have also been told one of those great players you keep mentioning that didnt make Calder but played EDFL rep has also decided to take his talent to a new club in 2009 . So your club is doing a great job keeping its talented players maybe you should think twice about what your mates really think about you as two faced people are running riot at your club.......

Craigieburn under 16s not belonging in a grade?
How many teams defeated keilor this year during the regular season?
1.Craigieburn.
As I have stated, Ben Drummond has all the skills required, size is good, gonna develop well, but until he puts his head over the footy, you can not possibly rate him as highly as you do. If he continues the same way that he is, he wont be able to take the next step as an elite footballer, because elite footballers are able to win the footy for themselves.
I am aware of exactly went on between the coaching staff and Ben, maybe it was wrong of the staff to get stuck into him about not putting his head over the footy, or maybe it’s all a part of growing up and developing as a footballer. Some people can hack it, some people cant. As I said the coach has been involved at the highest level of junior football, so he knows what he is doing, Ben will be better for it in the long run. He took his apology and left. Simple as that.
As for backstabbing team mates?
Well personally I’m not involved with the under 16’s other then having mates playing in the side, nothing more, nothing less.
And what I do know, is that everytime they step out onto the park, they are there to play for eachother, not for themselves, mateship is that the boys pride themselves on in the under 16’s, its written all over the rooms before the game, its always the hot topic at training, everyone looks out for eachother.
But I’d like to know how many of them you actually know, and have been involved with, because from the sounds of it, you are just an onlooker, going on the craigieburn stereotype. Typical. But I guess everybody is entitled to their own opinion, some just have a more educated opinion then others.
And this player that "I continue to mention" where did I happen to mention him? I am aware of the situation going on with this player, but where was he mentioned by me in that previous piece of writing.

Well FYI Ben played in the game against Keilor the only time you actually beat them .As a matter of fact as I recall it Ben got the ball out of the middle kicked it forward to bellino and bellino kicked a goal which then put you's in front and went on to win the game.
Yes he has good skills , he is not perfect but that is why he is part of the development squad and what sort of person are you to single out a 15 yr old kid and say this kind of stuff about him , As for the real reason for him leaving it was not because he was told to put his head over the ball, so go back and get your uneducated info correct.And as for an apology which one was that because Ben never recieved an offical apology from anyone other than the so called apology that was send by email. As for mateship if it written on a wall then it must be true , so if i write CJFC are a pack of cheats and whingers does that make it true , I guess so because it is written on the wall....This argument can go on and on , leave your jealousy at the forum door and write the facts not what you heard from your mates mums friends husbands counsin who knows the cleaner that knows the canteen lady that heard it from the coaches wife. Just let the kid get on with his footy and wish him luck at his new club where he is happy keeping his head on his shoulders and not over the ball. All of these kids that progress to the next level all have the hopes and dreams of AFL but not all make it why do people have to try and knock their confidence and call them names for doing what they think is best for them.If CJFC players have ill feeings for him why does it matter which club or grade he is at as long as he is happy.Get on with your life and worry about your own weaknesses and how you can improve as a person.
