I was there for a little bit and if you blokes turn up with that performance against Greensborough you will get a big wake up call. And at the end of the game you were celebrating as if you had won the granny when didnt Lalor kick 1.8 in the last quarter to blow it?

Meanwhile our ones went as watched Mont v Bats, mont won by 40. Same as preston, if they come up with that game the mighty Boro will shock em.

Some interesting results this weekend (and sorry for no ponderings).

Mont knocked off the Bats with some ease however the 40-point win will please the Boro players who were in attendance as the game was sloppy at times.

North ended Wallan's year in exciting fashion, apparently Hooper can't do it all. Let's see if the doggies can turn around that loss last week in the big one.

Preston beat lalor stars by one point at West Lalor. Lalor knocked them off by 2 last time so another close result was fitting, good to see some finals being so close.

West Preston beat Yarrambat by 20 odd. That's all.
 
Jackson Nunan got a yellow card today for front on contact, with the rules the way they are now, maybe lucky to escape with just a yellow and not a red...

Can anyone confirm whether or not this is number 2 for Jacko?

mate just like use did against us(RSL) during the season, RSL kicking 1.5 in the final qrtr. then use celebrated exactly the same, and im pretty sure a prelim is more important then a home & away game..

also lucky u guys werent a draw when u took that mark 40 metres out when the siren went cos that was a terrible kick that u produced.

yeahh i got a yellow card because someone grabed from behind and i slung him to the ground. with the kick i was willing to pass it off because i knew i wasnt gonna make the distance against the wind, but i was told to hold it because there was a minute to go. and im not gonna comment on the other point because i dnt know anything about it..

yes mate that would b his 2nd.. however not to sure if they wipe the slate clean wen it comes to finals.. if not i think the club would b appealing the decision

a yarrambat kid did the extact same thing later on in that 1/4 n got nothin for it not even a free against how consistant is that

as you said if anything jackson prob should of got red carded for the hit but to send him off for it was a bit of a joke

would b a shame if he was to miss as his been the heart n soul of mont all this year

Agree, it would be a shame for someone who has played all year to miss the big one.

The NFL Grand Finals Venues are up as well.
Div 1: Mont v Boro at Eltham as predicted

Div 2: Morang v North at Whittlesea

Div 3: Preston v Boro at Lalor

Div 4: Search v West Preston at North Heidleberg.

Thoughts on the ground selections?
 
Pretty happy with the choice of Heildeberg because its a BIG ground and a very big advantage to West Preston (our home ground is big).

i heard he did and hit it hard all day but mont was just to good?

hey pocketer, was it interesting results ? all the expected teams got over the line.

mont were trash and still won easy, agree with others that greensy will go physically hard and some players last junior game they might be looking for some sweet attacking on the body and the ball !

doggies get revenge at south and this is the game i want to see, no love lost and every chance of everyone gettin involved, even the crowd if it goes down to the wire, i rekon the doggies can turn the tables on the cocky morang boys.
didnt see the divvy 3 game but must have been a thriller, who dominated and plenty of yellow cards there? will greensy see who shouldnt be on the ground this sunday ?
i wish i had some money to spend on research fon the big doggies ground, better get out of there before the doggies come home if they dont win, you can start enjoying the win already.

I am not being up myself or anything, but I recon that this time, on the North Heildeberg, Research will go down to us. We have learnt from our mistake, never set the foot off the pedal!
