tulla ones have matty b and scotty lined up in their best 21 .. with shaun o farrel played a couple of games and sean doyle debuting on satday

Roxy have the rugurlar ahmed saad, and matty patane, and there have been 4 under 18s who have been in the senior side, #16,#26, #44 and#7, all of which are quality players...

who is going to win the B grade under 18s final???

Hmmm... Its a completey different westy side this year but... with most of the boys winning the GF together in u16s last year.
You sound confident that Roxy will beat TL in both games, remember that TL beat em allready away from home earlier in the year.

Me thinks T L are the sleeping giants here.
All the talk is about how many S H players are in seniors and dropping down, Westy choking (which like many others i also believe will happen),
and the difference Patane and Saad will make at Roxy.

T L have some good guys to come back, and remember even Koroneos will be back from TAC to play finals.

As for Jacs we are still an outside chance, Haddy need to lose last 2 ( SH and Glenroy).

I wouldn't be too quick to write Westy off as chokers. All of their players have a finals campaign under their belts, either through the U18 or U16 from last year. Westy's U16 last year were very impressive in the GF with their discipline to stick to the game plan and that has carried through into this years U18 side. I think the conditions and the grounds will play a big part as well as the coaching. A wet or crappy day will suit TL or Roxy with their bigger bodies, but good conditions and a big ground will suit the run and play on style of Westy.

I tip a Westy V TL grand final but will hold off on a winner until the end of the home and away.

TIPS FOR THIS WEEK
JACANA - 25 points
SH-4 goals
WESTY - astronomical margin..if KP dont forfeit
ROXY - 10 goals
Taylors lakes- 10-15 goals....very strong side
moonee valley 5 goals...any team on their day tho
glenroy 100 points...

i heard from a friend down at MV that 7 or 8 players were being played in the seniors in the past few weeks from 18s
whats the go there...for a team struggling in 18s do u really think they have that many players worth giving a game at senior level footy?

Now that the Moran fund is no longer in place M V have realised that junior talent is the way and they are probably seeing who has a future.
good on them for doing so, a lot of clubs are T L, Roxy, S H, Jacs.

some interesting reading, losts bout whos laying seniors and who's coming back and so on....
Roxy apeared to strong agaist syd/hill and looking at the squads from the weekends game syd/hill were almost at full strength!!!....Roxy will be strong come finals time, with saad and pantane.
Saad is good enough to win the game by himslef he's a very smooth mover.
syd/hill at ful strength werent able to over come Roxy.....confidence will be low, not sure if they'll win this week!!!....but if they gel...who knows!

This is the week that Haddy are pretenders or contenders. If they can beat SH, or get within a few points, it will give SH a mighty shudder going into the gane in two weeks time. I think that SH are already thinking beyond that game, despite what they might say.

Also the game next week between TL & Roxy, what a cracker. What tactics do you use, if any, considering you have to play them a week later. Does TL rotate players through Saad and Patane and see who performs best? Exciting stuff... bring it on.

21.7-133 Sydenham Hillsidedef.Hadfield 5.5-35http://www.sportingpulse.com/nf/com...nueid=5988946&c=1-3922-0-64511-0&fID=35310734

Hmmm at a guess they went down the road of pretenders.
Good news for jacs keeps our slim finals hopes alive.
We is counting on Glenroy to beat Haddy, but after seeing this score:

6.6-42 Glenroydef. byEast Keilor 20.15-135 (clearly the upset of the year)
Dont fancy the chances somehow!!!!:cool::cool::cool::cool:
The dream no matter how small is still there.

there is a clear cut top 4 now...haddi and jacana will be just making up the numbers.....nearly a 100point loss from haddi on the weekend going to need a 100point turn around just to be competitive!!......but having said that they should over come the pressure of a finls like game against syd/hill to comfortably beat glenroy this week.
Not to surprizing bout EKeilor beating glenroy, the week b4 against haddi only lost by 20pnts.....seen a few players on there team list that i havent seen b4....so for mine not a surprize that they won.

Roxy or Taylors??????

Starting a poll:....will give final results on friday evening!!!
Who will take momentum into the 1st final, or will there be games, and will players be rested??

My TIP = Roxy

Top question. Don't expect either of them to rest players before the first final, both teams will want to win and take the advantage into the first final! Roxy has big guns in Patane, Saad and Mickleson but Taylors have better depth through their 22. I think the possible wet conditions will have an impact on the game and TL better 22 will win on the day.

TL for mine in a close one.

we want heartbreak kid back, give us your tips for how the sharks are gonna go, dont think u boys will feature in the big one this year though, form isnt tooo crash hot where as last year u were on a roll..if roxys midfield can hold there own...they are home and hosed

Fair call, seems the Syd Hill boys have gone quiet since they got beat by Roxy! Maybe under the instructions of heartbreak who is also missing recently.

In defence of S H, they do have a good finals record, whether that counts for anything remains to be seen.
The big focus the next 2 weeks is the T L vs Roxy games.

Jacs still a chance bro.:)

the syd/hill boys dont have much to say, coming off a poor 6 weeks......2 wins only, they are probably eating there words

dont worry HBK will have something to say later in the week.....

PS: dont forget ya tip roxy or TL.....keen to see what the foram folk are thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!
