Hi guys the one certanty to play off in the grand final is westy.They have quietly gone along all season and absoloutly spanked the majoraty of the comp,very well oiled machine.The scary thing is that they will only get better next season.

The only other two contenders are roxy and syd/h
lets start with roxy everyone talks about the two, no 4 and no 17 they only finish off and score,they have a very well balanced team accross the feild,who play good ,hard,possesive,direct football the complete package.Lets not forget they were hot favourites for last years granny .

syd/hillside would not surprise if they go back to back .they have gone about this year like they have planned for it .slowly running into to form towards the bussiness end of the season .awsome half back line and very well drilled team.

as for you lion fart your team t/l show signs of a very good team, everyone says that westy will crack this finals series it will be t/l that does.the few games i have seen taylors play this season i have noticed that as soon as the opposition put a bit of presure on you, you go to water and take cheap shots at them behind and in play.very predictable game plan and to one dimentional,and yes you will enjoy A GRADE next season because your seniors will get you there.so dont sledge too much on this site because my A GRADE freinds will be waiting for you next season biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggggggggg difference in A GRADE enjoy a very lloooooooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg season next year.

T/Lakes...RESULTS will tell you that they warented 2nd
Roxy...Saad and Pantane, no more seniors
Syd/Hill...have made it hard for themselves, but moving upwards of late
Haddi...if they win this week, will be there only win for the finals campain

I think its fair to say....that any of the top 4 could win.........Westy still favourite!!
i reckon roxy 2nd favourite
then T/Lakes
4th = Syd/hill....prob cause dont have 2nd chance!!!!....if they had 2nd chance, would have them 2nd favourite

Yea true that......OR..could be a player/water boy who doesnt play often, but cant i believe that players and coach would approve of what he is saying, so money is that he's not from T/Lakes FC

Westy were less than impresive against Northern Saints on the weekend, considering Northern only had 17 players including 3 guys that were injured before the game and shouldnt have even played. They love to throw their heads back and stage for frees, hopefully the finals umpires catch on quickly.

Dont get me wrong they were still way too good for us, but for the first time all year I'm not sure if they will win the flag. The key to beating them is getting on top early, and they will start to panic and think about last year. I wasn't overly impressed with Sydenham earlier in the year, I think Roxy could be the team to win it. Good even side, hard at the contest and plenty of class up forward.

Important to remember that the grade you play is determined by seniors. The top teams in B Grade would be competetive with the bottom half in A Grade. B Grade has improved a lot over the last 3 years. The fact the A Grade clubs poach so many guys from B Grade only proves it.

Good to have someone else here from a team not in finals.

Regarding above teams/comments:
Roxy: good side, not sure about flag, beat us by 20 pts
T L : good balance around the ground, beat us by 25
S H : ordinary against us, no forward line, our backline killed them, a game we shoulda won, beat us by 11 pts
West: another "shoulda" game for us, beat us by 1 pt. not overly impressed with them.
