Turbo , did Haddy behave themselves Saturday?
The unchanged Hadfield team from the week before had a incident free game against MV 18s.
Both teams were a bit unsettled in the first quarter. MV found their feet and the goals in the second quarter. The second half was basically goal for goal with MV holding onto a 5 goal lead and win.
Both teams have a lot to look forward to going forward with some really talented young players for both clubs.
Everyone shook hands and celebrated after the siren, and the supporter groups from both sides were passionate and well behaved, with no unnecessary comments coming over the fence.

Agree with the above.
Played in good spirit and incident free on both sides of the fence.

Moonee Valley best team all year and a fair distance to the next placed teams in Haddy & Hillside. Few of the MV boys played seniors dropped back and were telling.

Only thing I noticed on the telecast was a crude tackle laid out of frustration by the big kid on the MV kid close to the boundary line between the 2 coaches boxes. MV kid looked like he was concussed as took a while to get up. How is the kid??

Back on the ground 2 minutes later, I know the one you are talking about and thought the same about the concussion. Both teams trainers were on it pretty quick, I can't speak for the MV trainers but I know the Hadfield trainer doesn't mess around with concussion stuff. (Nor should any of them)

Yeah have to agree the Haddy trainer is very good and always attends to both teams and is always out there quick. Seems like he cares about people. 👍
Not even a free kick from memory so not sure what the umpires were doing but they need to protect players better also as a duty of care!

Knew the Hadfield trainer when he was at Lalor, was surprised to see he crossed to Hadfield, (followed Ang across I think) he's a bit of a different trainer to most, no formal medical training as such, but gives 100% for the players no matter which team. Have heard most other clubs and trainers speak highly of him. Have also seen him go toe to toe with umpires/coaches/players. Good for a chat most of the time too.

Not much you can do when your ass is being handed to you.
