Watched a few Beauy games early in the year and didn't notice Blee (maybe a slow start / is Drangons Listed?) Watched a couple of St Bedes games Faulkner was massive in each of them!!

Couple of 16yr olds played nearly all games for St Bede's (McKee and An'drea) so with their strength in the 17's could be a good couple of yrs for the boys from Brindisi Street!

Back Flank is the last position you would have jamieson. Either on ball or forward pocket along with kemerrer and Barry.

As i said i didnt see him play much, merely saw he was a rising star nomination in which the article said he was a shining light across scotch's ones half back line. Was just jumping to the conclusion that he would play there for the 19's also.

Agreed. Deserving winners and well done to Xavs. Handled the conditions far better and the margin probably flattered us a bit. From the look of their South Div team they are going to take some beating next year as well.

From our clubs point of view this year’s group exceeded all our expectations. But having made it to a GF but we are obviously gutted to lose. Guess you can’t win them every year. A pretty young group for us so plenty will be around to try and make amends in 2012.

It is now 2 weeks since the vote count and no publishing of the votes. Do they have something to hide or just do not care about the junior part of the VAFA?

I did not get to the GF yesterday. Was a Team of the Year published in the record? If so, could someone please upload it to this forum?

Xavs were the best side all year... Super day for the club. Two 19'a flags in one day is an incredible achievement!

Some super players on GF day too:

Ryan shutting the league b & f completely out of tue game.
Hannan everywhere around half forward.
Pasceri in the middle - best midfield in the comp. Cannot believe he didn't get tagged in the finals.
Barry who had been held by McDonough on 2 occasions came out and delivered.

Give us a spell mate, I bet half the teams in the 19s would argue that they could have made the gf if they didn't have injure players or players in the seniors. But you play with the team you have and if your not good enough then you dont win. Simple

Fact is you got dominated across the whole park & therefore would've needed a bit more than a Full Back and another Half Forward Flanker...

De La played horribly because Xavs didn't let them play well. Got smashed in the contested ball.
